Student News Action Network (online journalism for high school kids!)

Washington International School journalism students have partnered with five other schools around the world to create a global student news network this year. It's a sandbox year, so we're still playing around with the format and the editorial structure, but the project has really excited the kids and has huge potential to grow, we think!

I've loved this site from when I first saw it a few months ago. Keep up the great work on it.
Mark,

I have shown our News Action Network in several presentations. It is an excellent example of student work and collaboration. I hope it does grow!

Thank you very much for the encouragement, Brian and Jim! I'm at the NAIS conference in Chicago this week -- we did two very successful presentations yesterday, and people are enthusiastic about the possibilities. Looking forward very much to sharing stories at BLC 09 and growing this site into something compelling for students.

Maybe we could share some stories?
