Should I come to BLC09?

I"ve never been to this event.... what are some reasons I should attend? I'm in a large suburban school district outside of Houston, TX. What are the "it" factors?

By far the most compelling reason for me to attend BLC09 is the connections I will make with those individuals that are working every day to transform education. I attended BLC07 and was blown away by the speakers, but what I enjoyed the most was the impromptu group conversations that formed everywhere. The ability to chit-chat with the likes of Will Richardson, Ewan McIntosh, Dean Shareski, Alan November, and so many others was priceless. Plus, I'll be there (reason enough...).

The ideas and connections I made at BLC05 really sparked my imagination and got me thinking in new ways. I approached "school" like I never had before. Now, I get the chance to go back every year. I can't recommend highly enough.
