We should create some kind of commercial where different people who are planning to come can create a 10-15 second clip around a theme. We can group them up and publish.

Theme ideas anyone???

Hi Brian,
What a great idea. Since the conference is Building Learning Communities, why not ask everyone to record themselves building something. You could build something virtually, physically, thoughtfully, etc. I think it would allow for a lot of creativity and diversity. I think a caption would be appropriate too, no? What are your thoughts? I'm interested in what other ideas are out there as well.
Awesome idea. Everyone builds something and in the video has 15 seconds to explain their "building" and how it relates to education. I don't mind taking the 15 sec clips and pulling them together. I wonder if something like Pando would be the best way to get the clips to me.

Thoughts by anyone else? We need to get this out to people who are coming and maybe have an area on the EBC site with instructions.

If people don't have video capabilities, maybe a photo with supporting audio or a caption.
A voicethread would be easy, though not as flashy. Build a 3 or 4 page ppt with themes & people can add video, chat or type their contributions.
You're so smart. No wonder China wanted you. I'll wait around and see if there is any more interest before kicking this off.
