A Little About You
I have been a teacher, administrator and superintendent in urban and suburban schools since 1970. In 2008 I founded innovation3 llc, an innovation consulting firm in Massachusetts. I have graduate degrees from Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English and Harvard University's School of Education. I am immediate past president of the Massachusetts’ affiliate of ASCD. I write, speak, teach, and consults on teaching and learning for today’s students and am passionate about topics such as global climate change, creativity, the right to learn, risk taking, powerful learning experiences for all students, personal learning communities, leadership, communication is a digital age, universal access to education, collective intelligence, and the participatory culture of the Internet and Web 2.0. I blog at innovation3.edublogs.org and at Education Week’s blog by school leaders for school leaders, LeaderTalk.org.
