Douglas started early in the digital evaluation in 1987. He became an instructor and trained business from fortune 100 to individual graphics artists on the most popular digital software applications. He became an Adobe Certified Instructor and Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and taught seminars, workshops, classes, college in most US major cities, and London, Bermuda, San Salvador. He created his own training curriculum for each application. He trained over 75,000 attendees in various learning environments over the past twelve years. Some of the conferences, seminars, workshops include: Photoshop World NAPP, Professional Photographers of America, Association of Professional Photographers of Illinois, Photoshop Tour, Mac & Windows Academy, Adobe Users Group Orlando, Graphics of the Americas Annual Print Convention, American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA), Free Newspaper Associations (12 states), MacWorld Expo, Photographers Society of America, MacSummit, Russell Brown Adobe Senior Designer Training Classes, Apple Computer and Int’l Student Media Festival workshops for K12 students and teachers.

He began instructing K12 teachers at education conferences & workshops for Adobe and Olympus such as: National Educators Computer Conference - NECC, Florida Education Technology Conference - FETC, Tennessee Education Technology Conference - TETC, Florida Association of Media Educators - FAME, League of Junior Colleges and California State University Summer Arts Festival and many more.

Douglas began authoring “talking head - training videos” for Adobe Photoshop in 1994. He has updated seven versions of Photoshop videos for MacAcademy/Windows Academy and now StudioEworks. He also authored training videos for Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Director.

He is the author of the Lesson Book - Digital Cameras & Photo Editing School for Teachers & Students using Adobe Photoshop Elements, which he uses with twenty-five Olympus Digital Cameras to training teachers and students. He started Digital Cameras Clubs for elementary kids, from which the book for formed. This concept was sold to Adobe to become Adobe Digital Kids Club as a one stop depot to help teachers find free materials to teach students to use digital photography and video to enhance learning in the classroom.

As a free lance digital production artist using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator he produces web sites, web graphics, brochures, flyers, books, booklets, digital multimedia presentations, photo imaging and shoots much of his own photography. He has much experience with print media, running a digital prepress department for a printing plant.
